I think the music serves a purpose, it's there to cover the talking and general "people" noise. I have never been there and it was too loud. I also like that it's a "glorified Starbucks". It's much cozier than an "office" which for me is the point. The coffee is great and those little wafer cookies are a nice touch. ;)

I've been a member here since last year. It has definitely saved my life as a long time wfh'er since we don't really have a good coffee shop to work at these days (rip foxy, I miss the old days). It can be EXTREMELY loud during the day. Many people are on calls constantly, and it's extremely distracting. Quiet workroom is great but the climate control is not as good in that room. Was very cold a a few times this winter and I'm anticipating the opposite in summer. Crowds have definitely slowed here since the recent 30% price increase, and I can see why. There's a reason a lot of folks here didn't join the more traditional / corporate co-working spaces. The price point is now barely accessible for me and I hope to see some direct benefit from that increase imminently. To use this space at its best I recommend from 6-10am, when it is a bit of a more focused vibe and not so many people on calls.

I understand the concept Switchyards is aiming for, but this location does not function as a professional coworking space. The environment is consistently loud, with intrusive music and frequent conversations, and posted rules (table occupancy, phone calls, moving furniture, eating full meals) do not appear to be enforced. The advertised βlightning-fast internetβ was disappointing. I had difficulty staying connected, and when connected, speeds were around 32 Mbps download, far below expectations for a paid coworking space. The final issue was an unprofessional interaction with a staff member. A Switchyards employee named Jessika attempted to sit in a seat that clearly had my coworkerβs belongings placed in front of it. When I politely asked her to choose another seat, she responded rudely, grabbed her bag, and walked away to put her uniform on. Overall, this space feels more like a coffee shop or social hangout than a place for focused, professional work. I would not conduct business here.

I see what they are going for. Iβm not really impressed with the Wi-Fi speeds; itβs not βlightning fast,β it is painfully slow like basically airplane Wi-Fi. The coffee is good. Stroopwafels are my dream. Also, they play the weirdest music in here, not normal music, but weird stuff. They play NPR in the bathroom, and while I was in there, they were explaining how to discuss oral pleasure with your partner, going into very explicit detail. Very inappropriate

Very excited for my new "home away from home"! I was a little nervous to come in the first day since I figured it would be packed but I was able to find a great little workspace. I grabbed a cup of coffee and accomplished so much while I was working here. Parking was no problem either as I found free street parking very close to the building. I contacted customer service on the day of the membership drop and they were very helpful and highly responsive. Looking forward to seeing all that this place will contribute to Savannah!
